If it is right for you... then I say congratulations for finding the thing that has filled that void for you. It's a funny thing, isn't it, how the estimations and values the world puts on things can be so constricting and can leave a person so... empty (for lack of a better word). Life is too short to base your own fulfillment on the judgment calls of others who may or may not know of which they speak, and who may or may not be so pure and enlightened in themselves to have a base from which to judge others. Good for you for following your own path. Just please, be careful with whom you entrust the care of your person. Be safe, as I know you will.

You have explained something to me that no one has ever been able to explain. By chance, I discovered the "section12" blog spot and just started reading some diaries out of curiousity. I've always wanted to understand the S/M lifestyle. I knew it was a chosen lifestyle, but I just couldn't understand the purposes or reasons that would bring a person to that point. I started emailing back and forth with a few of the people at section12 trying to understand. What I learned was how "normal", intelligent and lovely these people tend to be, but no one could ever help me to understand the mind-set. You have done so, but that doesn't surprise me. You pretty much "hit the nail on the head" consistently. I guess I'm about vanilla as they come (so to speak), but I want to understand everyone and everything. Thank you, again, for taking me to school. *Hugs*
