If one was to keep a private folder and they forgot to/ chose not to renew their gold membership, do those entries disappear or do they become public? I'd probably end up forgetting about that and risk someone running across it when I no longer had a private folder. I'd be interested in a password but only if you feel comfortable with that.

For every action, there is an equal and oposite reaction. I think you just proved that theory through your little experiment with the fly. It's funny you should talk about experiments today. That's exactly what I was talking about in my entry this morning. Life is like one big experiment.

"Fly in the butterdish - shoo fly, shoo, fly in the butterdish . . . " well, you live in the South, so I'm sure you know the rest! Sweetie, I'm here to tell you that I think I should NOT have the password to the private folder, because a little privacy to work out what's in your most inner heart is such a good thing, especially when your public diary has such a big educating-strangers component to it. Oh, of course I'm panting to read your every thought, and I probably will succumb to temptation and ask for the p-word eventually (not assuming I'd get it!), but for now, thank you for the opportunity to exercise a little self-restraint. You are a true lady and inspire me to be so as well. (Now let's see how ladylike we are the first time we meet over a crab boil!)

I've missed you! Do you know, (of course you do) your writing is superb? I never fail to be entertained by your entries, but I think, at least for the time being, I'll refrain from peering into your inner sanctum. Just keep posting here, okay? And I'll send good thoughts your way.

You entered some tough stuff and profound truths today. Some things that happen in our lives really suck...but there are good things that happen too, sometimes even as a result of those sucky things. Password? What's up with that?

I'd love your password to your private thoughts, Ms. Leslie. But if (as an unhugged, virtually un-aquaintance) may I just comment upon this hooie business about you not being strong/admirable/other synonym? Thanks. As I said, hooie. I'm nearly positive in all your world travels you've heard "Some of the greatest strength can be found in putting one foot before the other in your 'weakness'". I paraphrase badly, but I know you know what I'm saying, darling. HTDB back at you, you sexy strong admirable thang you.

It's all about public relations. He was just another bug. Now he's a "butterfly".
