I'm sorry that your son doesn't understand fully why you made this metamorphesis.. but I am also glad that he seems fairly accepting of it. It seems like he is just looking for the answer to "why", which is understandable. Does he (or anyone in 'real life') know about your webpages?

Ah, don't even go back there. That chapter has already been written and read. To change anything then would make now so different. Accept the past and make more of the present. We all can say we coulda shoulda, but its so stupid. FS is truly trying to cope with the now. Give him time, he has many old images too lay to rest. Rejoice for the moments goodness and seek more of them for the future.

Deep thoughts...It really does make sense though. Ones' perspective can radically change interpretations of the same event. It's amazing to think that others don't experience ME the same way that I do. Huh, imagine that!

I am so proud of you! You are really being true to yourself, and without that you have nothing. I really hope the truth also sets him free so he can get to really know the neat person you are.Lynn

EEEEEEEE......don't take my last comment as something negative! It sorta reads back like I was yapping.

I guess it's hard for anyone to understand where you're coming from unless they've been there (isn't that true for all of us?), but I think your son did try to articulate his feelings. I'm so happy he chose to spend time with you. All you can be is who you are, and that seems to be a mighty fine person.

I don't get it. How can a man all of a sudden want to be a woman???

Hello, In a way, what happened to your old computer when you tried to update it is what happened to your son's perception of you when he tried to update how he sees you now. Transgender people don't decide to suddenly become a woman. It is something we feel from an early age.
