When I tried to consider all the questions around SRS, I thought that I would surely wake up from the operation with a certain amount of depression about the enormity and finality of what I have done. As it turns out, I was wrong. I've not felt depressed in the least. I feel complete in a way I really never expected. And each day, as the aches and pains subside, that happy feeling only grows. Clearly, I havew done the thing that was right for me.
I had a check-up with Dr. Suporn yesterday. Everything is normal and doing fine. At my initial examination, he told me I was his most difficult case, as my (ahem... ) penis was so very small and there was little scrotal tissue to use in fabrication of my new genitalia. He told me he couldn't promise very much in the way of vaginal depth, since there was simply nothing with which to work.
During the operation, however, he took quite a lot of skin from my inner thigh and used that to form a vagina with 7 1/2 inches of depth. Yesterday, he told me I have the longest vagina in the room, which was saying aa lot, since an examination by Dr. Suporn always includes his wife, two nurses, his cute patient representative, an odd secretary or two, and anyone else in the clinic who has any passing interest or just too much time on her hands.
Anyway, I'll see the Dr. once again on October 1st and then move to a hotel in Bangkok for a couple of days before leaving Thailand for California on Oct 4th. I'll be coming home to Mississippi on Oct 7th, when I can sit down and start writing the tons of stuff I have to tell you about this trip.
Most importantly, thanks for your comments and positive energy. I felt it, I really did... And I had a marvelous experience in the middle of it all.
