Ms Leslie gets back into her coveralls
OK, I took a couple of days off from working on Anns house. I got my own house cleaned up a little bit and had some time to myself. Im refreshed now, right? Well.. not exactly. I used part of that time alone to go out and hurt myself at the casino, and the rest of it to just kind of hang out here at home like Ive been trying NOT to do.

But either way, I need to go back and get hot on her project. Her oldest daughter is coming from Michigan with her grandsons next week and I need to at least get her bathroom back in operation so there will be two toilets working instead of one. The worst part? getting back into those dumb old coveralls. Im starting to hate em. I have a denim dress I probably could wear, but then Id really mess up my knees from crawling around and Id destroy the dress with the painting Ill be doing. Plus, you know, its just kind of inappropriate to try to do work like that in a dress.

In the future, Im going to be looking for some more coveralls. Some cute ones.

I finally got the letter I need from my doctor to turn in with my application for a passport. According to the State Department information service, If I provide a letter from my physician stating that I am transexual, they will issue me a passport as a female. They didnt say it had to be from the surgeon who will perform the operation only from my physician. She questioned whether her letter would be sufficient, but I am going to go down next week and try it. I think a lot of it will depend on the local post office and how they interpret the rules. The main thing is, I dont want to try to deceive them or keep secrets. I want my passport to be a legal one, whatever that takes.

Ive been thinking lately of making an early trip to Thailand, just to get familiar with the country and maybe to visit the clinic to assure myself that its going to be as good as people say it is. A round trip ticket to Bangkok is only 800.00 and I doubt if I would spend a thousand dollars while I was there. In fact, Ive been looking at ads for apartments there and they are really cheap. Sometimes I wonder if it would be advisable to put my stuff in storage here and just go there and stay until I have the money and lose the weight to have all my surgeries done. I love Thai food so much though, I wonder if I could turn it down enough to actually lose weight. Who knows? I guess the first step to finding out is to get my passport.
